Most Disliked
Occasionally, diners have commented on the temperature of certain dishes being less than ideal, particularly the meat. Guests have noted a desire for hotter food upon serving, though the flavors often compensate for this. Some have experienced longer wait times during busy lunch and dinner hours, especially on Sundays when the restaurant reaches full capacity.
While the limited indoor seating is cozy, it can feel cramped at peak hours, leading to a bustling atmosphere that may not suit everyone's preference. To mitigate this, visiting during off-peak hours is advisable to enjoy a more relaxed dining experience.

10/01/2025 Our first time dining here and everything was fantastic! The inside dining area is clean with a cute country bbq atmosphere. The bathrooms are clean. There is a nice outdoor seating area that is dog friendly. Selena waited on us and she is the sweetest women! She definitely made us feel welcomed and like we were regulars. She offered great food suggestions like the Moink, that my husband said was pretty good and that he would get again. The brisket was tender, juicy, smokey and flavorful! The temperature of the meat could have been warmer but was still delicious! All the sides we ordered were piping hot and very good. The corn casserole could be eaten as a dessert because it is sweet. The green beans had kielbasa in them that gave great flavor. Beef brisket - delicious Very good sides - Potato salad Corn casserole Broccoli rice casserole Green beans

Summerfield Jewel Artman’s located in Summerfield is a little jewel tucked away on Hwy 42 in Summerfield. They have limited table inside the building but they also have tables outside the building. I first tasted their food when our friends invited us over to their house. They served brisket and smoked chicken. It was delicious. So, we decided to go there not long after we tasted the food from our friends’ house. Our first experience at Artman’s was great that we decided to return and bring some friends with us. The restaurant opened at 11:00am and we arrived a couple of minutes before they opened to make sure we were able to get a table. Understandably, the restaurant gets full very quickly because their food was that good. When the doors opened, our server told us to sit where we wanted. The restaurant was very clean inside which was the first thing I noticed. Even the bathroom was clean. I came craving ribs and that was exactly what I ordered. I ordered a half a slab of St. Louis ribs. The server said, “let me check to make sure we have ribs.” He asked the gentleman behind the counter, and was told that they only had 4 ribs left. They had not received their delivery yet. I was fine with that. For my side, I ordered coleslaw and French fries. Ordering the ribs was not a mistake. It was delicious and cooked perfectly. They have four different kinds of bbq sauce on the table. I didn’t use any. I thought the ribs were perfect just the way they were. My spouse ordered burnt ends and he loved it. As I said, Artman’s is a Summerfield jewel. Go and try it. You won’t regret it. However, I do suggest getting there early so that you don’t have a long wait.

Came here recently with some friends for dinner. From the outside, this looks like a smaller restaurant. But when we went inside there was plenty of room with at least 15 tables for guests to sit and eat. This was my first time here so we ordered a sampler platter that had three kinds of meats and four sides. I also ordered a few appetizers to get so that I could taste as many different things as possible. The meats had a good flavor and were tender and delicious. The sides were exceptionally delicious. The portion size was very generous, and we had enough to take home for another meal later. I live over half an hour away, but our experience was so good. I will be coming back again.

When you think of classic country Road eatery and smokehouse, this is it. Small restaurant and very inviting. Acknowledge your presence. The brisket has a perfect smoke ring, properly develop bark. A very juicy and tender brisket. Some of the best brisket I have had and definitely worth the trip. The brisket burnt ends are a mix bag. The burn ends are deep-fried to give it some crispness and I think mine were just a little over fried, without the sauce you can really taste the frying oil. When you add the sauce that it comes with, the oils taste is not as pronounced and better balanced. I will definitely come back for the brisket.

We have been here multiple times, most recently this past weekend and everything is always so delicious. Their staff is really friendly and the restaurant has the cutest lil country town vibe. Their fried green tomatoes are amazing, their banana pudding is to die for and their brisket is the best.

BBQ Heaven on Florida’s Country Roads Wow! I’ve never had green beans like this. They were packed with sausage, bacon, and potatoes. It’s not a side dish, it’s a full-on experience. The ribs practically fall off the bone just by looking at them. The brisket sparked a flavor brawl with the ribs, but the chicken stepped in as referee and called it a draw. When it comes to equality, those three meats deserve respect. Nothing was overly salty or cloyingly sweet like some places I won’t name. Even the sweet tea hit the mark and should be called “Bullseye Tea” for its perfect balance. The staff was incredibly friendly, gotta be a Summerfield thing compared to the northwest-west vibe. I’ll be back, and I hope they open a spot down South. Highly recommended if you're cruising through Florida’s scenic backroads. If you ride a motorcycle, this is the kind of place that fuels your belly and your soul.

This is the best barbecue joint in the area. Their meats are awesome; portions are generous; and the price is very reasonable. My wife thinks their corn casserole is the best. I can't remember a better banana pudding. The only explanation that I can see for this place not having a unanimous 5 stars is that some people have eaten bad BBQ for so long that their taste buds quit working. My only advice is not to wait. They are so darn good they run out of food. Otherwise, we are blessed to have Artman's in the area. Update: I should mention that the service is as great as the grub.
